Tucked into a peaceful, landscaped setting, Katherine & Griffiths House are purpose-built residential homes that have been thoughtfully designed to maximise views, natural light and a sense of wellbeing for our residents.

In a tranquil location next to the Downs on the edge of Westbury-on-Trym, Katherine House provides 24-hour residential care for up to 41 residents; and next door, Griffiths House provides round the clock specialist dementia care for up to eight residents.

We strive to get right all the little details that make our residents feel at home, alongside first-class compassionate care, excellent facilities and a wonderful programme of entertainment, activities and gentle exercise.

Our resident chef and his talented team prepare fresh, delicious and healthy food three times a day, with fruit, homemade cakes and other treats offered in between.

For our residents with dementia, Griffiths House is a safe and welcoming environment that benefits from the dual-site facilities. Each resident is supported to retain their individual identity, with a bespoke activity programme designed to stimulate social interaction and help build purposeful relationships. We welcome input from family and friends to ensure that each resident has a programme tailored uniquely for their benefit.

Across both care homes, we place particular emphasis on trust, empathy, respect and kindness. Our residents experience good company, excellent food and the freedom to make the most of every day – whether that’s pursuing hobbies and interests, taking part in activities, or simply relaxing in a charming, comfortable environment.
